Did you know that improved blood flow will help you lose weight? One of the many negatives of too much sugar is that it reduces the amount of nitric oxide in your body. This causes your blood vessels to constrict and reduces the blood flow to your trouble spots–cellulite, love handles, and belly fat. Eating certain foods will increase blood flow and speed up your metabolism which in turn speeds up weight loss.
One of the best foods to eat for weight loss is ground flax seed because it helps increase blood flow. The seeds contain essential fatty acids that assist in the fat burning process. They also contain fiber that helps stabilize your blood sugar.
This is one way to set your metabolism up for better blood flow, which means increased fat loss.

Some other tips for reducing your trouble spots –
Stoke your metabolic fires by eating enough. Many people think that crash diets or eating significantly less will help them to lose weight, but doing this can actually cause your metabolism to slow down even more. When you take in less than 1,000 calories per day, it causes your metabolism to slow in order to save energy. Choose nutrient-dense whole foods.
Eat Breakfast. Busy people tend to forego breakfast because the morning is the most hectic time of the day. Unfortunately, skipping breakfast can cause your metabolism to slow down as well. I put oatmeal in my rice cooker the night before and it’s perfect by the time I get up.
Add protein to each meal. Protein is important for keeping your full and focused throughout your day. When you stay full longer, you eat less which enables weight loss. It is also important to eat the right protein rich foods such as yogurt, beans, lentils, and lean meats.
Bottom Line: Hormones, food choices, and food timing are WAY more important than counting calories.
The ancient calories-in vs. calories-out approach does work at first, but it will never remove your body’s most stubborn fat. That’s why I highly recommend you check out Trouble Spot Nutrition if you haven’t already.
